Since the introduction of the USB-based PC cameras in 1999, the company has contributed to the successful adoption of the USB-based products among the PC users. Over the years, the company has launched a wide range of USB-based peripherals to market such as USB PCI Cards, Web Cams, Hubs, Mice & Keyboards, External Enclosures, etc, which has been the cornerstone of the company's success.

The company experienced dramatic growth in the first part of year 2001 with the expansion into another bus industry, namely IEEE-1394 or FireWire. By introducing the DMC1394 series, the company has made pretty much for another successful adoption of the 1394 standard among the PC users.

The Year 2002 marked one of the company's most successful years with the sales of the Momobay,the world smallest 2.5” external enclosure, and continued popularity of its USB and IEEE-1394/FireWire products.

From the later half of year 2003, the company made a new era of the multimedia player supporting MPEG1/2/4 & MP3, etc by introducing the HD-35, the world-first HDD-based portable multimedia player.
